The company was founded in 2013 as a spin-off from the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa after winning the Italian National Prize for Innovation in the Cleantech category, the Start Cup “Il Sole 24 Ore”, and after a training period in Silicon Valley within the Mind The Bridge business programmes. The company focuses on the design, production and sales of microturbines and turboexpanders for energy harvesting combined with IoT solutions and energy efficiency solutions.
Our mission is to promote environmental sustainability, spreading the use of microturbines for energy harvesting, enabling smart management of gas and water pipelines. This reduces CO2 emissions, losses, increases the lifespan of pipelines and resources, monitors water quality, and reduces maintenance, all leading to better service and greater respect for the environment.
We won competitive funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, in particular the SME Instrument Phase 1 & Phase 2 (AirWatt), awarded the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label, and were finalists at COP28 in Dubai in the Energy Efficiency category.
