Applications and Use Cases of Microturbines

In our range of Microturbines that enable digitalization, we offer three solutions: two microturbines specifically designed for use with natural gas and technical gases (30 W and 150 W) and one microturbine designed for water networks (200 W). These microturbines are ideally suited for reliably powering IoT (Internet of Things) devices, which play a fundamental role in data-driven management within Industry 4.0. Our technology is versatile and adaptable, and can be integrated into any industrial process that employs a pressurized fluid, and can be effectively coupled with third-party IoT devices.

Our larger Turboexpanders, capable of reaching powers up to 50 kW, exploit the pressure drop generated by the decompression of natural gas. The electrical energy, obtained from the expansion of natural gas, can be employed in a number of ways, including:

Powering heat pumps to pre-heat natural gas

Generating dispatchable electricity for green microgrids or the national electrical grid

Powering electrolyzers for green hydrogen production

Our technology not only aligns with the goals of the European Green Deal but also significantly contributes to meet ESG targets, demonstrating our commitment to a more sustainable and responsible future.
